Edward Barnsley (1900 - 1987) was one of the leading Arts and Crafts furniture-makers of the 20th century, and the workshop is renowned for the exceptional quality of its furniture. Significant commissions undertaken by the Edward Barnsley Workshop have included furniture for the Palace of Westminster and the oak boards for the re-binding of the Domesday Book.
